Marmo d'Oro owes its uniqueness to the unusual combination of two inspirations - classic beauty and elegance associated with marble and the Italian stonework tradition and the delicacy and originality of kintsugi, the Japanese technique of repairing broken ceramics by re-joining its pieces with powdered gold or other precious metal. Both of these directions were the impetus for creating the Marmo d'Oro collection.
